What We Do

On behalf of the Municipalities we serve, we strive to ensure safety and order within our communities by providing Residential and Commercial Plan Reviews, Building, Zoning and Code Enforcement services to homeowners, contractors, businesses, and developers.

Building Code Enforcement

At Manter Inspection Company, we ensure that all residential and commercial construction within the Municipalities we service comply with the requirements set forth in the Uniform Construction Code (UCC) and any amendments adopted by the municipalities.

Zoning

At Manter Inspection Company, we enforce the Municipalities Zoning Ordinances, and help to ensure they are in compliance with the Municipalities Planning Code (MPC). We also provide amendment review to address possible ambiguities, before adoption.

Code Enforcement

At Manter Inspection Company, in conjunction with providing Zoning Services, we also enforce stand-alone ordinances. Many times we find an issue is in violation of more than one stand-alone ordinance, giving the municipality more options to ensure compliance.

David Manter

Building Code Enforcement (BCO), Code and Zoning Official

David has a construction background, being a general contractor for nearly 40 years. For the last 10 years as a building inspector, and sewage enforcement officer, David has used his expertise in helping Municipalities, their residents, contractors, businesses, and developers complete construction projects the right way, the first time. David is a local to the Poconos and has strong roots in the community.
